A few days back a WD Green Drive in my Nas showed a Multi_Zone_Error_Rate of '1'. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/127248-hdd-dying-warranty/#entry1692541

I ordered advance replacement and the new drive is on its way. Now I checked the Smart Status again and now it says '0'. Do you have a clue what happened and wether they'll take it anyways?

I don't see why not.  They give you a refurbed drive anyway.  All they will do with your drive is test it, and if it is deemed acceptable, refurb it and send it to someone else ;D

Edit: At least I assume it is the same with WD.  My past experience is with Seagate.

@Megabikerjoe Really concerning which part?

that they'll just accept it as it is and give it away as a refurbished one? Any source or are you just guessing? :D
