hey so i bought some corsair ram CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 and i decided to check if its compatible with my board (asus prime b450 plus) and to my surprise its not on their list of supported ram , so i looked into a few other boards and its also not on their list so i was wondering if itll still be okay to use with my board or will i have to buy a new board to use it.

if it is not on the list it just means that the rated overlocked ram speed is no longer tested and may not work

it will work almost guaranteed. but, the 3200 speed will not be guaranteed. if the XMP speed (3200mhz) does not work properly, the motherboard will revert to 2400mhz to maintain compatibility.

because motherboard manufacturers cannot test every single stick, it may not be on the list even if it works.
