Budget (including currency): $900 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Rocket League, Day Z, Twitch Streams, Retro Games/Emulators.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): CPU - i7-8700

RAM - 2x16gb Crucial DDR4

Motherboard - HP 8653

Case - HP Pavilion

The main things I’m wanting to do is add a GPU, better than stock CPU cooler, and a decent 750w or better PSU. I’ve got $900 so any suggestions is super helpful.

Hey,

could go for what downkey suggested indeed. but,

you can save some bucks by going for a cheaper PSU but very good quality like Antec HCG \ Antec Eearthewatts Pro.

P400A is a great case but do you really need it? I mean you should upgrade from your current but you can get some budget-mid case that will be completely fine for any system.

Corsair 275R Airflow case is a great option, modern look can find it black or white, good airflow, decent engineering. Could add an extra fan but its not necessary.

RTX3080 as said is not available, but in this price range I recommend looking for it or the AMD equivalent since there are a bug price\performance margins between the old and new gen.

The 275R is the same price as the P400A Digital, and the P400A is a much better case. Why not just got for that?

Also the AMD equivalents are also out of stock.
