So I was wondering if the CoolerMaster MWE 650W Bronze V2 a good psu for my pc, because the one I have right now is a Spire Pearl 600 which doesn't even have a PCI-E connecor it uses some kind of an additional one that connects to my gpu so I was wondering if it's a good upgrade.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: Asus Prime H310M-R R2.0

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650

CPU: Intel Core I5-9400f

RAM: 2x4 gb DDR4 2666mhz

SSD: No ssd

HDD: 7200RPM 3.5"

That PSU definetly fits your needs.

If you want to upgrade to a new GPU that is rather power hungry you should look into buying a PSU with more watts because that will probably hurt your power efficiency.

Well im planning to stick with these specs for a long time

your 1650 used very little power and the PSU tier list says "Cooler Master MWE V2 units have high ripple issues on very low load also resulting in increased coil whine, fix pending." 650 would be the best amount of watts to upgrade to, you can get a 3060 or 70 in the future. id consider a different psu

It's great for planning new builds, getting a reference on where to start, or seeing what you need to play what games.

It also shows what I recommend for upgrading your stuff!

SSD: No ssd

I know it's off topic, but you should really at least get a 120GB one for Windows. Windows 10 and HDDs do not play nice together and make for a very bad and sluggish experience. I just recently equipped 2 old notebooks with SSDs and they run like completely new machines now. HDDs as a boot drive are the single worst bottleneck you can build into your PC.

But the PSU should be fine if you don't intend on upgrades like you said.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Not only the boot time, but overalls system responsiveness. WIth HDDs you can wait a minute or so when clicking on chrome and wait for it to open. With an SSD it will literally only take a second.

When this cheaper PSU allows for an SSD then it's worth it. Go for it.

there are some known issues with the one you were thinking about. Im not sure how bad or even if they will be present but im just going with what the list says
