Is there any kind of push for this? I'm sure there would need to be a tax law in place with the requirements. Maybe I/advocates need to start contacting our elected officials!

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...

I am not aware of any tax deduction [in the US] that exists.

F@H would have to provide a non-profit to the IRS and we the folders would have to provide some standard to which on how to base a monetary equivalent to claim. This would not be easy with the constantly changing environment that F@H uses to fold in. IE annual GPU advancement, the recent F@H code and other variables.

Do you think that bureaucrats can successfully understand and apply this real world?

Don't get me wrong but I would gladly claim the cost of my folding to my taxes for an increased refund :)  but realistically I don't see this happening, but I could be wrong /shrug.
