Operating System: Win8.

Hi all, in my new system will be needed intense data redundancy, so RAID and all that will be there.

However, I would like there to be a software backup of my most important files as well (notably my pictures, some often changed work files and installation of XAMPP).

I would like to back these up probably 4 times a day to a CF card, and to a MicroSD card simultaneously. Both cards are 128GB so this will be a sort of faux RAID 1.

What I would like to happen though is if either of the cards is not in the PC, the backup will still go ahead on the remaining media. If neither card is in the system, the backup will fail gracefully (no alerts or anything).

Ideally if this could be done natively with Windows, awesome. But is there a better way to do it?

Second Copy is a software that can back up to internal or external hard drives and to other computers via network. Give it a try :) looks promising. Not sure about MicroSD cards but it SHOULD work. Download the trial first to see if it works: http://www.secondcopy.com/
