Can't get computer to boot

Go to solution Solved by DG House,

that will probaly help you

Hello, this morning I installed a b450 tomahawk max motherboard with a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU. I got it to boot the first time but the CPU indicator on the motherboard was red, I then saw that the CPU power cable wasn't all the way plugged in. I took everything out (had to because my case isn't easy to work with), and now whenever I press the power button nothing happens, I triple checked everything, and everything seems to be in the correct place. The PSU isn't dead. The only sign of life that the motherboard shows is that the bios flashback light blinks 3 times after I have the bios flashback button held and then released.

Any help would be much much appreciated, I got this upgrade for new years but so far all it's given me is a panic attack.

The MSI 400 Max boards should support Zen 2 OOTB.

Before messing around with flashing the BIOS try doing a CMOS reset to check if you can get it to boot at all.
