Pc specs: Ryzen 5 3600x 

                Powercolor Red Dragon RX 5500 xt

                B450 Aorus M

                480 gb ssd 

                16 gb of ram

 

Since the first time I played a game I noticed that the frames would drop to 30-40fps, I've looked at benchmarks and other things and cant figure out how to fix the problem. I even put my friends gpu in my pc to see if it would work but the same stuff happened, is it possible that its a bad cpu or motherboard?
