Looking for upgrade...

Hello People,

I am currently looking to upgrade my computer but not really buy a whole new one as this one i have still works quite good for me.

I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING TO JUST UPGRADE MY GRAPHICS CARD. (or do i wait next year for the new AMD GPU release)?

I do some decent gaming.

I want to know what you guys recommend? please let my know what you think.

I thinking to just go AMD for the GPU, as its now the way to go these days.

I am also wanting to overclock my CPU. (currently at stock speed) 3.5Ghz i think. After the new GPU installed. maybe like 4ghz or above?? (any reccomends)

also upgrade to win 10 from 7.

Somewhere AROUND the $300-$350 CAD price point ($250 USD) or whatever you think.

give me a small list or whatever and ill choose from there if easier...

My current PC SPECS ARE:

MSI z87 g45 gaming mobo

Core i5 4670K

16GB ram DDR3

Corsair H100i cooler

750 W PSU

Current GPU is a SAPPHIRE HD7970 OC

You should be able to get yourself a Radeon 5500 XT for around 300-350 CAD. It should be a nice upgrade over your current card.

I wouldn't wait for any new releases as the i5-4670K wouldn't take more advantage for the price being paid. A 5600XT or a 1660S would be a good upgrade if you can find one in the budget range, if not a 5500xt
