Okay so i had a small incident with my PSU and i had basically as a whole short circuited the PSU. This was due to me sticking a metal stick into the PSU whilst it was on causing a power outage and a small bang. I had covered all that in a recent post but now i have 1 more concern.

Now i had my PSU plugged into a power board along with my monitor. my question is would this have damaged or fried my monitor due to it being in the same power board?

My monitor is a 1440p view sonic 27 inch and my PSU is corsair 650W ATX 80+ bronze

Also power board was 6 slot from Coles 5$

What? How?

i had a problem where it had a wire clipping the fan, i tried to stick the metal stick in to seperate the wire. For some reason i thought turning my pc off just gets rid of my PSU power although i was quick to realise there is a lot more too it. Anyways it shorted out as i interrupted an electrical current. luckily i wasn’t badly shocked.
