Any one here a pentester ?

Hi, just looking for advice. I'm learning pen testing (through some online tutorials, one called Comptia pentest+) and want to know a bit of background about it. Is there a large demand for pentesters or am I better off with some other qualification. What are typical requests from clients, is it just basic stuff like "can someone access my WiFi network" or more advanced stuff like finding weak points in a server system. Just want to know what typical requests will be like. How do you find your job, is it difficult, is it better to chose a different field, and your general opinion on it as a career path.
