Hi,

I recently purchased a HP G3 USB C dock which is hoped to connect to 3 external displays to bring a total of 4 displays including the built in. My laptop's has a 620 UHD graphics card. All 3 external displays are shown in the device manager but on 2 actually display an output. I've tried updating all drivers. And digging through the display settings but no luck.

  • Processors including Intel HD Graphics 620 support a maximum of three independent monitors. Even though you can physically connect up to nine monitors (using DisplayPort 1.2), a maximum of three will be supported.

@SlashedMyes but the dock says it supports 3 external displays.

It doesnt matter what the dock says, your graphics cannot handle it. As the other part says, "Even though you can physically connect up to nine monitors (using DisplayPort 1.2), a maximum of three will be supported."
