New purchase need help!!

Hey guys new member long-time lurker.

 

So I am looking to buy myself a new laptop and the two i will be linking are in my price range and seem to me to be a good deal but i honestly cant figure out which would be the better deal.

I have tried sites like versus.com to compare the two but the HP laptop doesn't seem to be on there only the 4GB version.

both seem good to me but I'm just not knowledgeable enough

The Pentium 4417U is a MUCH faster processor than the Celeron.  It also has hyperthreading.

I just looked at the base specs (Not the panel, size, keyboard etc just the PCB'd hardware) and the Pentium CPU is approx. 60% faster and has hyperthreading.  A vastly superior CPU, and the other specs (ram, storage) all looked the same

so i went to order one and it seems we in the uk have a bit of a shortage on budget laptops due to the work from home situation I am now looking at other options. 

If I dump a few links would you be willing to help out again @Tristerin??

That's absolutely fine I'm stuck in work at the moment anyway (WE'RE RUNNING CLICK & COLLECT [SO LONELY]) so I'm attempting to learn what i can about the differences in the meantime.
