Hello Folks,

 

Been in discussion with my DAW manufacturer and my audio interface manufacturer. Been Discussing the usefulness is assigning CPU cores to specific programs to stop them from interfering with each other during load.

 

Per my DAW Manufacturer: "It might also allow Mixbus to run at a lower buffersize reliably, if the cores are more directly connected to the soundcard interrupts. We use some of those 'hacks' in our high-end console systems."

 

So my question is for you the brain trust. Is there a way to figure out which cpu cores are most directly connected to my  Sound card? right now I am using a RME UFX+ via USB 3.0. If i can effectively figure these out and assignt he correct cores i Believe i can improve the efficiency, stability, and decrease audio latency in my system.
