Dear forum, I want to make a virtualizer with Vmware Esxi for testing purposes. Currently I have a TrueNAS with server grade hardware providing iSCSI service trough 2x 10Gbe SFP Ethernet.

Currently I have this hardware:

Memory: 2x Kingston HyperX fury 2666mhz 16Gb

Power supply: Corsair 700W 80+ I don't remember the exact model

Case: Generic chinese

Ethernet: Fujitsu D2755 (PCIe 2.0 x8) featuring Intel 82599 chipset

What I was thinking:

Mother: Gigabyte B450M DS3H

Proc: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (I like very much this proc because has 65W TDP and it's very affordable used in my country)

Questions:

1) Will the integrated video card work or this only works with "g/ge" amd proccesors?

2) In case I would need to acquire a video card, also will need to connect it to another pcie port different from the 3.0 x16. this will work?

The mother has 1 x PCI Express 3.0 running at x16, in a x16 slot, 1 x PCI Express 2.0 running at x4, in a x16 slot and 1 x PCI Express 2.0 running at x1, in a x1 slot.

So I would connect the Ethernet card to PCIe 3.0 x16, and a video card to the PCIe 2.0 x4. (remember that I don't really need a video card, it's just for the first install, then all the management is being done remotely.)

Thanks a lot for your comments :)
