You can disable it and not allow it to run any background processes in the Apps settings. But there is no real way to completely remove it, as it's baked into windows.

 

The only real way to completely remove it is to run a inofficial windows install where it was removed. But thats a whole other can of worms.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

you can disable cortana, i don't know why you wanna use it.

It's so weird, it did not used to be on my old install (In new Zealand we can't use it so it's stupid it even gets added lol)

 

So all the apps that don't have uninstall option, I can't get rid of ?

Pretty much, yes. The best you can do is uncheck the background process setting for these apps.
