So I have 3 hard drives, all of them need defragmentation to be done, since they are high capacity drives, it will take a while...my question is - can other drives be accessed for music files pictures videos etc, if one of them is defragmenting? In the past I was leaving pc to defragment hard drive 1 of 3 and was doing nothing with pc at all...main drives (OS) is an ssd

With windows 10, you don't need to manually defragment the drive especially the SSD drive.

It will defragment automatically in the background.

I've not touch defragment for like 5 years.
