Hello everyone!
I have recently joined the LTT forum community, and just started doing Folding@Home.

I am wondering; what is the purpose of joining a team? Is there any benefit to myself or anyone else?

I can't find anything about it online. Thanks for the help! ♥

Folding for a team doesn't make you fold faster or anything. Teams are used to fold as a collective. So I've contributed like 25 million points to the LTT team. Because of that, I have the silver folding badge. Besides that (that being bragging rights), there isn't much use to them besides curecoin (a team that sort of pays you for folding; like mining). Points are only for bragging rights, and teams are pretty much for that too. If you're going to be some what active here, I'd say join the team. If not there's not much purpose. Having a badge by your name is always nice

I think I understand now. I'm guessing to join the LTT team?

ya join the ltt team. It's the type of thing where there's no reason not to
