I'm currently running 2x8GB @ 3200 on my x470-f gaming (ryzen 2600x), and I was thinking of upgrading to 32gb but I'm not sure how that could work (or not!) in terms of compatibility.

My motherboard's qvl doesn't list any 32gb config at 3200 BUT ram manufacturer lists a 4x8gb config as compatible.

It looks like it's the same kind of sticks

F4-3200C16D-16GVKB (my dual channel kit)

F4-3200C16Q-32GVK

but I don't know whether two dual channel kits would be different from one quad channel kit.

Also, would I have to set frequencies and voltages manually instead of using docp since only the dual channel kit is "officially" supported by the motherboard?

Thank you and Merry Christmas!
