Installing a Seagate Exos X16 16TB NAS into my workstation

Last october I built a new workstation and with the music work that I do there comes a need for plenty of storage. A friend sold me a brand new NAS HDD which he says he didn't need for his NAS setup. But I don't seem to have the proper power or data cables,I have SATA cables but they do not match and I wonder if it is even possible to install a NAS HDD in my workstation, and connect it through my SATA. If this works, what should I be aware of, going forward with using this type of drive at my workstation?
