Mouse /doesnt/ stick between monitors

My Google-fu is failing me. I'm WFH and have two external screens stacked and my laptop screen (to the left). Im using a TB dock that the monitors, mouse, keyboard, ethernet and power are connected to. My work laptop (Dell Latitude 7400 2in1) doesnt pause/stick between screens (opposite of this post: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1109508-mouse-sticks-between-monitors/) but when my wife's laptop (HP Spectre x360) is connected to the same dock with the same screens and accessories the cursor does pause/stick unless the cursor is moving fast. Some may hate the pause/stick between screens but in my older age I find my hand/eye coordination getting worst (or maybe its the higher res/dpi screens/mice to blame) and when I attempt to click a chrome tab on my lower screen that I often move past the tab and to the upper screen where I click on the taskbar instead.

I read about the MouseMonitorEscapeSpeed registry entry but I checked the laptops and the entry is not on either. I looked through Cursor/Mouse and Display settings (in both the new Settings 'app' and the old Control Panel) and couldnt find any settings that would impact this. Both computers are running the latest Windows 10 build, only difference is mine is Enterprise and hers is Home (but that cant be it, can it?)

Edit: It also doesnt pause/stick going between 1 and 3, but my wifes does. So its not just the vertical movement.
