Has my computer become sentient?

I am getting the weirdest bug. Every couple of days, my computer will start typing, irrespective of which application I have open. The text is nearly always google searches I made months ago, and very specific. It seems different each time. It is actually typed out letter by letter, not just copy-pasted.

 

Examples I have seen:

  • In a video game (BDO) I saw my chat box open up, and the PC typed '6 combination 2', and then sent this into general chat; I never touched the keyboard during this, I saw each letter appear seqentially
  • In google chrome, a new tab opened up and I saw the search bar fill with 'combination vs permutation', again, each letter typed sequentially
  • I left the notepad app open on my PC while on a phone call, I came back with another search term on permutations typed out in notepad

 

It must have been 6 weeks ago I made these google searches related to permutations. I have run the usual windows defender scans, and downloaded malwarebytes to see if I had any virus/malware at play, but no hits.

 

Does anyone have an idea what could be going on? Is my PC trying to speak to me?

 

This issue only started in the last month, and there have been no hardware/software changes to the PC (except a windows update).

Try completely wiping the pc. It might have been some malware that is not recognized by the antivirus.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

MEMORY          : Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)
DISPLAY         : SpectrePro XTNS24 144hz Curved VA panel
MOUSE           : Logitech G603 Lightspeed
KEYBOARD        : Rakk Lam Ang

HEADSET         : Plantronics RIG 500HD

Kingston Hyper X Stinger

 

and a whole lot of LED everywhere(behind the monitor, behind the desk, behind the shelf of the PC mount and inside the case)

I can always re-install windows. There isn't anything I care about losing on this PC.

 

It is a very weird piece of malware if that is what it is. It it's malicious, why be so obvious, and if it's not malicious (just an annoying joke), has anyone else encountered it?

 

It seems bizare to me either way.
