Razer Synapse

Go to solution Solved by FrowningHippo,

Well I do believe 2.21 is the latest version of Synapse 2. I don't think they ever supported the Nostromo in Synapse 3.0. So, I am thinking you're out of luck in terms of official software support. Razer could really do a bit more for their customers in that regard. But that doesn't solve your issue. Have you tried fully reinstalling the software? Remove the register entries and everything? That might fix your issues, because Razer software can be buggy at times.

So, I have a Razer Nostromo. It is ancient, yes, but it still works, and I still enjoy using it. However, the Synapse software is problematic, often times it locks up completely if the gamepad is unplugged from the PC and plugged back in, to the point where I actually have to reboot my machine to get it working. o.x I'm currently using Synapse version 2.21, is there an alternative software for this that I could use? Or am I using the only software that Razer supports for the Nostromo?

Yeah, it actually was causing problems on my old PC, and when I got the new PC, the same problems migrated with the Nostromo. o.x

I had to reinstall Synapse a few times to get it working properly on the new machine, but it's occasionally crashing. I guess I'll have to reinstall the software again... >_>
