COD Cold War stutter after GTA 5 install

Hi guys, I have tried looking online for an answer but cant seem to find one.

 

I had a clean install of windows 10, I installed my usual programs along with Cold War and the game ran perfectly with no issues. Today I installed GTA 5, I didn't change or install anything else and tonight I went on Cold War to be greeted with shuttering while playing. The stutter was every 10-20 seconds or so for just a split second. I uninstalled GTA 5, Rockstar launcher and Virtual C 2008 (I think GTA installed that version, although I could be wrong) but after a reboot Virtual C 2008 was still present in Apps & Features.

 

Once I had done that and rebooted, Cold War went back to running perfectly fine with no shuttering.

 

I also tried a reboot before uninstalling GTA 5 but the shuttering was still there.

 

Does anybody have any idea how  I can have both games installed without causing this issue? I would like to play both games.
