I'm planning a new build. In general I think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing, but it's been years since my last build, so I wanted to get a second opinion.
These are the parts that I can currently buy from a local retailer with somewhat normal prices (excluding the GPU):

Things I'm unsure about:

• is the RAM okay - should I aim for higher frequency, are there other RAM specs I should worry about?
• will the motherboard require a bios update before I can use it with the 5600X?
• case comes with 3 140mm fans, which I plan to use as exhaust fans and buy 3x 120mm for intake. Paired that with the NH-D15S, will it be sufficient cooling to get a decent overclock?  
• Any relatively cheep fan hub recommendations that I can get from amazon.de? The motherboard only has 4 fan headers, but the build has 8 fans in total.

 

note: I have a gtx 1080 that I will continue to use for the next months, till 3080 prices become 'normal'

i suggest a 3600 cl 16 kit

Most of the build is fine just a few things:

I would get a nhu12s instead of the d15 since that CPU does not need that much cooling.

You could get a cheaper b550 board to save money such as MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK or the MSI B550-A PRO

Finally you should get a 3600 cl16 kit as suggested by @mahyar
