Alright so, I helped my friend with building a pc and after building it, it booted into the bios. We changed no settings and carried on with the boot, and instead of starting up it just freezes on the windows boot screen. We have tried everything we could find on why it may be doing this and had no success. (reseated the RAM one at a time, reseated the cpu, reset the cmos, messed with bios clock speeds and even reapplied thermal paste in case there was a contact issue)

But for some apparent reason nothing has worked.
Specs:

MB: MSI B550M Mortar

CPU: Ryzen 5600x

GPU: MSI RTX2070

RAM: Patriot Signature Line DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) UDIMM Frequency: 2400MHz

Boot Drive: Patriot Burst SSD

Any suggestions appreciated.

(If you want any more info, just ask)

fresh install on entirely new drive did not work still freezes on boot screen, could it be some sort of issue with the motherboard?

Ram was rebuilt into old rig and works fine, PSU is from the same old rig, same with GPU, it's only the motherboard and CPU that are new to the build, is there anything with them that could cause this problem?
