If it's also happening in safe mode, this is probably a hardware issue. First thing I'd do is clear CMOS as @Tan3l6 suggested, and then reapply XMP on your RAM. If that doesn't work, try testing your RAM sticks by booting with only one stick inserted (testing each stick individually to see if one of them is faulty).

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

If it's a driver issue then it shouldn't crash when booting into safe mode. Clearing CMOS is a good place to start.

Did you unplug the PC before you took out the battery? And when you say you short circuited the pins, do you mean the CMOS clear jumper? You should only do one of those two things, not both. And if you take out the battery you should hold down the power button on your PC to drain excess power from the system while it's out. It's also generally best to leave the battery out and the PC unplugged for 30 minutes or so.

Hopefully you didn't try to take the battery out while your PC was plugged in with the power supply on. You could have fried your motherboard.

Try leaving the battery out for 30 minutes, see if that fixes the issue.

I would try XMP. If that doesn't work then the next step would be to test with only one stick of RAM inserted.

I'd be more inclined to say you may be dealing with a faulty hard drive / SSD. I don't think it's an issue with your Windows installation. But try booting with a single stick of RAM first, testing each stick individually to see if one is faulty

Hmm yesterday i had a different BSOD that pointed to a failing ssd. Its weird its 4 years old 850 evo, with wich i was very careful.

I'd go with what @WaggishOhio383 recommends - test one stick of ram at a time.

If you'd have another SSD/HDD you could try swapping that next.

every single ram stick got me straight into blue screen.
so:

clear cmos didnt work

ram is probably not faulty

what should i do? Format and install windows on the same ssd? Or format the second ssd too, and install windows there?

I would completely remove the current boot drive from your PC, format the second SSD, and install windows on that

Shouldnt i give it a chance in case its a gpu driver? Actually the thing is i have this driver for days so it cant be it. I think the 850 evo is long gone. Just 4 years lifespan. Thats a lot less than i expected from this drive tbh
