I have a small case for a mini itx and not a lot of space. I want to put in gigabyte gtx 1650 lp (169x69x39mm or 6.6x2.7x1.5inch). Im pretty sure it can fit length wise and height wise but i think its still too thick (39mm),it looks like it would go over my memory slot for maybe 5mm (pic bellow) . Do you think i could fit it in? (btw i have 2 memory slots one is not used, maybe removing just that white tab would be enough). For anyone that wants to help me, i can try to explain better if i wasnt being clear enough.

The PCI-e Slot is next to the PSU metal cover at the bottom. There is more space down there but you are limited to single slot cards. What model pc is that?

EDIT:

Also Low-Profile cards as well, so maybe a GT 1030.

EDIT 2:

I mean, you can try to run the card in the PCI-e x1 slot instead. Not sure it will run 3d games with so little bandwidth though. Not all boards support that option either. There will not be enough power though the x1 interface. You will need a card that needs external power (6 pin o 8 pin). Then the question becomes, does your power supply provide enough power?

Lenovo v50s-07imb basically a small office pc. The metal cover is over power supply, I'm not sure if there is a lot more space down there but i will remove it and have a look at it.

Official Spec sheet with upgrade options. I doubt you can fit more than a GT 1030 graphics inside the case, given the PSU specs of 180 or 280 Watts as well. Maybe with a riser card somehow externally with an additional PSU, maybe?

I thought too I had small power supply, but my friend told me that for a low profile card 250w would be enough since its supposed to use less power . Maybe he's wrong, but i did see builds on youtube on other office pcs with a shitty power supply which use gtx1650 low profile that ran well.

It could work but I'd check for clearance below the PCI-e x16 slot where the PSU is. AFAIK all GTX cards are dual slot these days and from the photo it looks like there is no room underneath the the slot.

If you don't mind modding and if there is enough room, you may be able to fit a low profile 1650 card with a pci-e x16 riser cable. Basically you turn the gpu by 90 degrees and somehow mount it on top of the blower fan that's on the cpu or just underneath, no idea how but maybe you find a way. Just make sure to leave enough space for the fan on the card to clear the side panel.

Hmm, seems too advanced hahah, maybe if I had help from somebody that knows what they are doing, no way i could do it myself. Is it possible to remove memory slots from the motherboard, not the best idea, but if it wasnt in the way, it could fit .Im not sure if removing the white tab that holds the card in place (circled orange) would be enough. Gpu would basically go over the unused slot, but maybe the slot would be still too tall, if you know what i mean.

Your problem is that you need to plug the GPU into the bottom slot (the long one, not the short one). The top slot would work but limit your GPU to a fraction of it's performance and it may not work at all. The long slot at the bottom is meant for graphics cards to be put in. I have just looked at pictures of your case. There is no additional room underneath that slot. Meaning, either a riser cable, or you stick with a GT 1030 single slot card. It will be an upgrade compared to your onboard graphics and you can easily play oder games like Battlefield 2, most older MMOs like Eve Online for example, Minecraft will work as well. Don't expect to run the latest games, at least not at 1080p. I could help with the riser card but unless you live somewhere close it will be near impossible. If I had the same PC I would try it out, I have plenty of GPUs to mess with and riser cables are cheap.

If you know someone who is handy enough with power tools and likes to fix things (maybe even with soldering skills), he or she could help you out with that problem but you would need to have at least the riser cable already and then make a box the size of the gpu. the easiest way would be to mount it vertically, mounting it on the PSU cover. Some riser cables come with a flat pcbs that have holes in them. Would be easy enough to test out. But use some rubber or plastic washers underneath so the solder joints can't hit the metal of the case and cause a short.

I guess i'll try that, thanks for the help man
