Budget (including currency): -

Country: Poland/Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly online games, coding/work, some AAA titles.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I recently upgraded my old rig from one with i5 4690k to the stuff below. I ordered a 3060ti and 3070 (both asus TUF) - I was lucky enough to be browsing the store when they entered a scheduled restock into the system. I couldn't decide which one to pick so I panic bought them both. Right call in the hindsight as it was all gone 3min later.

Anyway:

1. Is my PSU enough for 3070/3060ti? I'm likely going to upgrade it anyway in the future. It's non modular and has a good amount of thick and hard to work with cables. (https://www.techpowerup.com/review/antec-tp-750c/)

2. 3060ti vs 3070? I have to pick one and return the other. Currently I mainly play online titles at 1080p 144hz. I'm curious about 1440p and/or 240hz but it's not in the books right now. 3060ti seems like a better value proposition at this moment, but I prefer to build my rigs to last for a while. My last one was i5 4690k, 16gb ddr3 + r9 290 and with minor upgrades it lasted me solid 5 years.

Estimated psu usage would be around 500w to 550w (probably less) depending on oc and stuff.

750w will give you that bonus headroom and a generally cooler pc. So you'll be happy with that.
Just for future info a 750w psu can even run a 3080  (600w used by optimum tech on YT)

In games a 3070 would be about 20 fps more i'm guessing? There's plenty of youtube videos to help you with that so it's all about the price really.

In sweden I paid like 650$ for 3070  and I have plenty of fun in all games but cyberpunk 2077 and that's because I don't have 8c 16t which most people who play that game doesn't have.

Non streaming you would get about 70 fps avg on 1080p max though, Overwatch and fortnite should be about 300 to 400 fps, ac Odessey 80 fps on ultra i'm guessing rdr2 with optimised settings maybe 160 fps? I use a mix of medium and high.

For 1440p you would get around 30 fps less maybe more depending on game just keep in mind that the higher you go up in resolution the more often you want to upgrade if you want to play in high/ultra settings. That's why even if 3080 is for 4k it is an amazing card for 1440p because of how much extra that card will last in that resolution. In the same way your 3070 should last a while for 1080p

Hopefully this helped. I love my 3070, if you have the airflow for it get the 3x fan version for example gigabyte, it will run quieter more than anything. I currently have the msi 2x ventus and I am quite pleased as well keeping under 70c on full load in games.
