hard disk swapping with raid without losing data

i have been planning to use RAID 10,

 

if one hard disk fails, will i be able to swap the drive without any data loss?

if i cant do it with raid 10 or any other raid type, is there a way to do it?

Yes, with one lost drive you can rebuild that without losing any data. Even two drives can be lost as long as they're from different pairs, but that that point you'll probably be needing another pair of pants as well.

Do what? Are you really sure that RAID in the first place is the answer you're looking for?

no, im not sure!, i want the most backuped way of storing data and if one drive fails, i want replace it asap without losing data

First things first: RAID is not a backup.

Now that's out of the way, you'd probably want to add a drive or two and go with RAID6 instead, or if you don't want to do that, go with RAID5 and your current drives. You'll need offsite backups anyways, so it's likely going to be just fine even with just one disk redundancy.
