Any of the galaxy smart watches that I THINK are waterproof. Not sure what it is really being marketed as. But if something says it is waterproof can you wash dishes with it in on? I wash dishes at a restaurant and want to know this before buying.

Water resistance generally means complete immersion for sustained periods. On a basic level, you'd be safe with virtually any wearable marked as water-resistant.

With that said, remember that it's water resistance, not detergent resistance. I would do some extra homework before you make a decision, but I wouldn't rush to plunge my watch into the suds. This would be more about surviving splashes without much trouble.

Nothing is waterproof. However I've gone swimming in mine without issue.  It has a water mode that keeps the screen from being touched and when you exit the mode it plays a tone to blow the water out of the speaker hole.

I'd be worried about the soaps used in a commercial setting.
