Rackmount Router?

Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

Ubiquiti has great routers that you can buy brackets for to rack mount with. I personally use the Edgerouter 10x from them and it works phenomenally.

Hello,

I am working on centralizing all of the computer hardware in my house (Minecraft Server, Networking, PC) To one rack. I was scouring Amazon, but I couldn't seem to find a router that could mount on a rack. Does anyone know of one from a reputable brand?

Just get the rails you need and a sheet of plywood and put the router of your choice on. If you want something fireproof, use a sheet of galvanized steel instead, like from an old pc case for example.

Another question. This seems to be only ethernet. Does it have WIFI, and if not, is there a wireless adapter you would recommend?

Ethernet only. They do have Access Points as well that will work well with this because it does have a PoE port you can use with it.

Is there a specific one you would reccomend? I live in a pretty small house. I apologize for all the questions, this is my first time.

I don't think their APs are rack mountable FYI. also pending on what you want for a router, there are lots of options, cisco makes rack mountable routers, netgate also, you could even reuse an old server to be your router. if you have a way to mount an old pc you could do that.
