How did you clean install Windows? Did you make a bootable USB with the media creation tool, boot from it, then follow the install process?

I never installed windows manually, this laptop automatically came with windows installed and I have in the past factory reset this laptop and everything was fine.

When you do a factory reset you should really be doing a clean install from a USB. I'd try the method I mentioned.
