Spell check not working

My spell check is not working on most sites including this. It seems to work on the google search OK but not on any other forums/sites.

 

Im using firefox and have enabled the  'check your spelling as you type' option.

 

It's weird because on my work PC running the same version of firefox it work fine.

 

Any ideas people?
