Ram upgrade

I currently use a Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15ICH 81FK003XMHI, with 8gb ram(4gb soldered, 4gb normal), i5 8400 and a gtx 1050. My question is, would it be worth it to upgrade to 20gb ram for better gaming and general performance, even though I will lose two of the same ram sticks?

You’ll get dual channel speeds until you exceed 8GB of usage. It’s really not a big deal for gaming with Intel since it doesn’t heavily affect performance like it does with Ryzen.
