Edit: Get 1600Mhz, anything higher is a waste unless you are using an APU.

Pretty much what Nicholas said, with ram get what you like the most or what's cheapest because the difference in speeds wont be very noticeable. Personally I am a bit of a Corsair fanboy so I would say Corsair.

depends on your CPU cooler too. I bite myself in the ass for getting corsair vengeance, because my air cooler won't fit properly. There are many nice low profile option too, like the G.Skill Ares,

 

Edit: also: 1600 post party! 1600 is a good speed for RAM.
