I'm super new to overclocking. I have a Ryzen 5950x that I made and I'd like to get a nice stable overclock for it.

Motherboard - Asus Tuf Pro Wifi (all the good ones were sold out).

Memory - 128GB GSkill 3600 mhz

CPU Heat Sync - Noctua NH-D15S

Everything I'm reading is fairly confusing. The highest I've seen my boost clock is 4.85 ghz which is a little disappointing. I'm seeing news that some people are able to get their boosts to 5.1 ghz. Is that something that I can tune and improve, or is what you see what you get?

I'd really appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

If your playing games don't OC the 5950x, it (somehow) reduces single core performance
