Question: B550M-PLUS integrated graphics

My question is two-fold:

 

1. Why does this board have an HDMI and DisplayPort integrated, if it does not support either of the 3000 Series Ryzen integrated GPUs?

2. What other purpose can the ports have outside running graphics off of?

 

I've searched online, but cannot find an answer myself.

Because the board supports 4000 Ryzen processors with Vega integrated graphics. 

It's only there for Processors with Vega integrated graphics, has no other uses.

 

Edit: Any cpu with a G at the end. See support list.

Thank you, I hadn't realized those (4000s) were a thing. I looked for a list of supported CPUs, but I only knew about the 3000 and 5000 CPUs.
