If its cheiftec, switch out for a bronze 505 or higher, just ugrade the cpu to a i7 7th gen. and if avavlible, get a gpu like a rx480 or 580

I think his GPU is the main thing that needs upgrading rn.

i7 7th gen

sure, if you want to spend upwards of 300$ on the 7700.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

yes, but psu as well because a fucking 350w isn't going to work on a 1660 super, 6gb vs 2gb, much faser super

It could probably work, also a 7700k with a 1050 is REALLY unbalanced.

BUT THE PSU ISNT A CPU. He meant that he needed to do a gpu, not cpu.

and they cost like 300usd. and are slower then the r5 3600 in games, for the same price as the 3600 and a mobo.

do you guys think that a i5 7th gen s going to work, it will work buts gonna be like a i7-5th gen

A 7th gen i5 will work. It's not great as it's 4c/4t but it will get the job done. A GPU upgrade will benefit him much more (a 1660 super for example)

Yeah my CPU is fine, running at 80% when in playing Escape From Tarkov on Reserve (biggest map).

The CPU effects the loading time what is perfectly fine.

I need the GPU because there are huge lag spikes and 2GB isn't enough for the lowest possible settings too.

Btw I have only 8gb ram which is runs at 7,5 sometimes 8gb. And I'll buy a matching 8gb RAM to run smooth.
