PC wont post

okay... i dusted off an old pc... it booted last week... installed win 10 (sorry)...

 

it ran fine but slowly... so... when it was off i added ram... and it didnt post....assuming the ram is bad i removed them.... now all it does... the cpu fan goes into hyper mode and screen stays blank.....

 

any thoughts ?

i removed all the ram and put in the original ram the computer came with..... no change

Did you try to remove the CMOS battery and let it sit for a few minutes and put the battery and the ram again?

didnt work same symptoms

tried it again and it worked... but now windows 10 is fubar....but im a step closer thank you...
