Cpu upgrade

Hi

Im looking to upgrade my cpu im thinking to get a i7 10700K or AMD ryzen 7 5800X which one should i get

btw im living in denmark where the i7 cost 490$ and 5800x 550$. Im mostly gonna use it to gaming

The 5600X would be better (if you can find it in stock at a reasonable price), in gaming it performs better than the 10700K and it's also cheaper, there's no reason to pay like 150$ for an extra 2 cores.

The 10700k is still a great performer at 1080 and 1440P resolutions. So it really depends on which overall package (price including board) you're getting at a lower price point I would say.
