So I have a Gigabyte RTX 2060 OC, on an Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4
(Full build here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/k3ykcf )
So I know you need SLI or crossfire if you want to use a two graphics cards in tandem on 1 application.

But when I try to stream a VR game like beatsaber, then there's beatsaber, oculus services, LIV, and Streamlabs-OBS all running at once. all four prepared to eat up a ton of GPU.

Would two different GPU's be able to split a load like that? Would this mobo puke kittens if I even tried?

It'd be nice to see if I could just get another 300/400$ GPU, instead of swapping out for a 1300$ card.

Of course I may be wrong but I doubt the 3 other tasks would use much GPU (if Streamlabs) use the Nvenc encoder built into the 2060. Which (2060) is not particularly great btw.

Well Liv does some straight rendering for the character model and some compositing, and then Streamlabs is a bunch of compositing, It's absolutely been enough to push the 2060 over the edge and make the game start chugging.
