Recently I've come across multiple threads about similar instabilities
Lets say... 4 Ram slots.
2 sticks.
4 labels for 4 slots, ABCD or 1234, BUT.... It can also be ACBD or 1324, and usually by mistake and re-swapping to appropriate slots per dimm, stuttering was removed, memory speeds were more compatible.

Just something to check in the manual or online,..as it's weirdly specific to random boards because not all follow the same 1234 slot layouts causing griefs.
Hope you get the help you need..

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
