hi i have a problem whit my X79A-GD45 (8D) it just wont start at first click. when i turn it on somtimes it dusent show eny thing on the screen. and when i turned it on and of fore somthimes it goes on at last. i ahd the saime problem when i had windows 7 to know i have win 8 just that u know. it had bin where help full if u told me whats wrong. do i need to do eny thing in bios ore somthing?. and just that u know i have a gtx 560 from asus whit 1gb. and power suplise on 600w. can u pleez help me out. and sorry for bad english :/

it has always been there... it happens evry time i turn on my computer. it just dont want to go on at the first time. it comes just i blank screen

It sounds like you need to up date your UEFI as originally the X79 boards only supported the 3960X and the 3930k (and some E5 Xeons) my best guess is that you have a 3820 or the new 3970X, You can download the latest update from MSI itself

i got a 3820 in the MSI X79A gd65 (8d) try to get a loan of a 3930k or the 3960X and flash the bios version 1.5 or later will work perfectly :-)
