0.8ghz or 8ghz?

Well,i like to experiment with different operating systems,

and i have seen that Windows XP is really good for RAM benchmarks,

Top results are on Windows XP,the current world record:

True true.

But theres a lot of tweaks on top of just running XP by its self.

First to start with is a stripped NLited version to minimize processes.

I have one so trimmed.... it might as well be W95. Manually install usb drivers and everything including a keyboard driver.

In short,, serious memory benching can be a real pain in the ass.

Had my DDR corsair XMS expert running 2-2-2-0-10 1T. But the cpu craps out at 2.976ghz and PiFast (very picky memory benchmark) will throw errors.

Also, memory bandwidth leans really hard on cpu frequency. So it's just as important to achieve high cpu clocks.

I didn't know that you need to trim Windows XP to achieve those scores,

I made an extremely light Windows 10,1.3 GB in total.

It's very fast.

Thanks for the advice, the only problem is that i have no idea how to install Windows XP on Ryzen without getting a blue screen.

I'm sure someone's done it. I haven't taken an interest to really try XP on Ryzen platforms I suppose, so I'd have to really look into it for any help. Which I'm sure you're way past me. But, you could try and disable all but one core during the installation, be sure bios is in legacy mode ect ect.

Nice! W10 down to 1.3GB isn't half bad!!

Here's TinyXP link for you. Probably best to install this on legacy hardware....

156MB :D
