Custom switch on PC case

Do I need to protect the switch-case contact from short-circuit (or anything else)? Pictures of switch below

pc power switch is momentary meaning its on for a second then off.

Off-topic question is it possible to turn off the computer with the same key switch?

ya pc use the same switch to turn it on and off (some cases you have to hold it to turn off)

Usually, cables are isolated but you could use shrink tubes (not sure if it is the right translation).

It could work if you move the key and move it right back... Not sure if that is something you would want.
