between 25 to 240, a lot of stutters, sometimes looking at the same spot my framerates is jumping from 60 to 140 and going down to 60, i've tried them all, 1080p, 1440p, 4k, even higher, always the same results. My cpu is at 38c right now, my gpu is at 37c

Update: I've rebooted the game, i was getting 80 to 90 fps then i got in a car, dropped to 25 and one assets by one turned black, until all screen except ui was black. The game was still working and running. i could move shoot etc... For those wondering, no never happened before and i've no issue with other game

Same thing happens when I play GTA: Vice City on my old Core 2 Duo machine with a GT440.

Problem?

PCI lane bottleneck. My GPU is stuck at PCIe 1x speed. Turns out Intel Q35 chipset doesn't like Fermi! Tried everything, but there appears to be no solution. Maybe your GPU is stuck at 4x-8x as well?

You can tell that by running GPUz.

Must be the drivers then, considering its a brand new card with a revolutionary architecture.

I'm sure Nvidia will iron everything out, like usual!

I also thought it was the drivers, but i've played many games with my rtx 3080, old one, new ones, even gta 4 which is known to be a mess is working, but far cry 3 is fucked. I've done some research and i'm apparently not the first one to have those issues. I've seen people with gtx 660, gtx 1080, rtx 2080, all talking about the same issues.
