Outdated CPU, planning to upgrade

I am currently running my Dell XPS 9000 with an intel i7-920 and it's fairly outdated. I was wondering what are some faster CPUs compatible with my LGA 1366 motherboard. I am looking to upgrade to a CPU faster than my current one and with a cost preferably under $200.

with $200 you can buy a 2nd to 4rd gen Intel i7 and a used motherboard.

1st gen i7 is so slow, it's about time you loose it.
