I am about to order the XL2546 benq zowie.

I was wondering is there any downside of running less than 240 fps on a 240hz monitor (most likely i'll have some fps drops with my current system)

Using RTX 2060 with i5-8600K possibly upgrading in a year. I'll be playing esport titles: valorant/apex/csgo/overwatch 1080p.

I've been using 60hz always untill now so I'm kinda newbie when it comes to this.

It really depends on whether you have adaptive sync (freesync or gsync).

I have ran a 144hz panel in the past while I only had about 70fps in games I played at the time. My experience actually improved because whenever my gpu would render a frame it would instantly be shown because of the faster refreshrate of the monitor. I think you'll see way more smoothness even though you might not hit 240fps at all times. No downsides really.

I want everything pink
