Budget (including currency): about 250EUR

Country: Slovenia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, maybe a little 3D modeling (nothing intense)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): (1920x1080) I currently have a gtx 1050ti and a ryzen 1300x. I don't know which i should upgrade first. I was thinking of buying a gtx 1650 or a ryzen 5 2600. I was thinking I'd eventually buy both of them but it would take time and i don't know which one would have the biggest impact on performance. BTW my RAM is currently 16GB

... I don't know your market availability, but with the budget constraints, I would upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600x first, and then save money for something in the range of the 2070 Super. I know that a bit antithesis to the parts you're consider, but I'm trying to consider any amount of 3D modeling, wherein multi-thread power and GPU rendering power are going to give you a lot of bang for the buck, even with small tasks. If you're set on a 16 series, I would still try to shoot higher than a 1660. Regardless, I would personally update the CPU first when it's a question of budget myself, as I feel like the 1300x is leaving more performance on the table than the 1050 ti.

The thing is I don't want to upgrade my motherboard. I have an asus Prime B350 PLUS and I don't know if it supports 3rd gen. Plus the 1650 is 150EUR here while the RTX 2060 is between 400 and 500 EUR.

With a bios update Ryzen 3000 support should be fine. I double checked my understanding and don't see anything saying the opposite. And yes, I'm aware the 2060 Super is a good bit more pricey, which is why I meant to be clear that it would require saving money, based on your budget, but I think your gains would be more appreciable than with a 1650. I don't think you'll gain very much moving to the 1650. That's why my secondary was if you really want to say in the 16 series price range, to maybe get a 1660 Super or TI which would help split the difference and still give noticeable gains.

Edit: Also, to be fair to what you're asking, if you stick with the parts you've selected, my advise would be to upgrade the CPU first, because I think you'll notice that more in your configuration than the GPU.

Do you have access to used RX480/570/580?

If yes, it's a better buy than a 1650.

if you want new, 5500xt is also good.

2600 is the best priced CPU right now.

Well it depends, if the game want more than 4, yes.

If not, no difference at all.

It would help if you have enough ram space to take the spill out.
